Like Jaegermeister, this is technically a bitter that is sold as a Schnapps. It is a typical German digestif but in the USA it is consumed as a shooter. Par-D-Schatz is made in Germany and is shipped to the USA in bulk and bottled here. The result is a great shooter at a competitive price.
