Mr. Jose Vilanueva and his wife Celia Barragan established a liquor distillery in Veracruz, Mexico called "Licores Veracrus S.A de C.V"


1970

The Villanueva-Barragan children, Jose Maricela, Mario, and Celia Villanueva join the family business.


1979

Eduardo Morales Villanueva, son of Celia Villanueva, is born, marking the start of his journey.

1989

Celia Villanueva Maestri moves to Houston, TX, and founds Mexcor International with the ambition of bringing the family’s brands to the U.S. market.

2000

Eduardo Morales joins Mexcor International, swiftly expanding the company's business into multiple sectors.

2001

Frank-Lin Distillers, Michael F. Maestri assigns the distribution for their products in the state of Texas


2009

Celia Villanueva Maestri transfers ownership of Mexcor International to her three children. In 2016, Eduardo Morales becomes President and CEO after acquiring full controlling interest in the company.

2024

Mexcor International rebrands its distribution business as Morales Beverage Group, emerging as one of the largest privately held alcohol distributors in the U.S. Representing over 9,000 brands, the company operates in Texas, California, Florida, Louisiana, and South Carolina, and sells to distributors in all 50 states.
