Chaquira Blanco

Chaquira art is an art for from an Indian tribe in the Sierra Madre Mountains in Central Mexico. They create beautiful figures from thousands of glass beads. This very slow produces some very valuable pieces sold for hundreds of dollars. The jaguar is a sacred and feared animal/god in the Mesoamerican culture. These pieces revere the jaguar. All hand made one by one.
