Meteoro Joven

According to legend, a flash of light suddenly illuminated the sky of the Southern Sierra of Oaxaca. A roar was heard and people saw “little eyes of fire” falling from the Heavens. An old “Maestro Mezcalero” saw a small crater with a meteor lyying inside had formed. He decided to use thar crater and the red hot stone to cook his ripe agave hearts. And thus, he made the best Mezcal anyone had ever tasted. When people asked how he had done it, he simply replied “it fell from the sky.” Meteoro is an artisanal Mezcal of the highest quality strictly using the traditional methods.
